Kathamann Art opening "Koskic Lunacy" in Santa Fe 3/10  Kathamann exhibits regularly at Johnsons of Madrid both in the gallery and the sculpture garden.  This opening displayed several large paintings and a number of multi-media pieces.  Her show at the Farell Fischoff gallery on 2nd street will run through April 10. 

Dinner and Belly Dancing at Cleopatra in Santa Fe 3/11  Cleopatra in Santa Fe at the Design Center offers large portions of middle eastern food for very reasonable prices.  On Saturdays an extra treat is Belly Dancing and live middle eastern music from 6:30 to 9 PM.  The Madrid connection is that all three of the ladies pictured above performed at the Gypsy Festival last year.

Snow in Madrid 3/12  After one of the driest winter spells in many years we are finally getting a little snow at the end of winter.  We can sure use the moisture and it is really beautiful.

Belly Dancing Tuesdays at the Mine Shaft 3/14  The Tuesday Belly Dancing continues.  The right picture is probably the last that will be taken of Catt before she has her new baby.  She contends that dancing is excellent exercise during pregnancy.

Mystic Vic with Susan Clarke at Kokopelis 3/17  Susan Clarke is one of our favorite local musicians she appears with several groups including Mystic Vic.  Andrew tells me we can look forward to seeing her at the Mine Shaft once booking for Saturday afternoons resumes.
