Halloween is a big source of celebration in Madrid.  The Mine Shaft Tavern has held a costume party on the Saturday before Halloween for many years.

More recently Anah-K has lead a Day of the Dead parade to the old Madrid cemetary with a rememberance for the people we have lost.

In 2006 the Tuesday night bellydancers initiated a combined costume party a belly dance show.  We hope this too will become a new tradition
